First Annual Wildlife Hospital Baby Shower

Ever heard of a baby shower for animals? Well now you have! Summertime is baby season at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. During this period of time, they will treat hundreds of baby animals including birds, mammals, and even reptiles. 

On June 4th from 10AM-3PM, The Conservancy is asking visitors to donate item(s) that are on their Amazon Wishlist or listed below that will help benefit the animal hospital. Don't worry, your donation won't go unnoticed. If you donate, you will receive a free entry pass to the Conservancy along with being entered to win a change to join the wildlife rehabilitation staff on an animal release or baby bird re-nesting!

Endangered Species Day at the Conservancy

Did you know that May 20th is Endangered Species Day? This is a day that recognizes the national conservation efforts to protect our nation's endangered species and their habitats. 
This year, The Conservancy of Southwest Florida will be hosting a variety of activities to showcase endangered species and how people can help these animals.
Along with activities, The Conservancy & the Naples Zoo are teaming up together to celebrate this day. For each member of either the Conservancy & the Naples Zoo, they will be able to get into the partnering organization's facilities free on May 20th and May 21st.

The Final Great Dock Canoe Race

This Saturday, May 14th beginning at 11am, the final Great Dock Canoe Race will take place. This charitable event hosted at Crayton Cove has been happening annually for the past 40 years and is fun filled for both participants and spectators. The theme goes with the final year, "The Last Dance." This water event includes several canoe races for various levels and also a "Best Dressed Canoe" contest.

The Great Dock and Canoe Race brings thousands of racers and spectators from around the country to Naples. Come and join the festivities this year! The Dock at Crayton Cove is conveniently located in Downtown Naples just 7 miles form the Hilton Naples

The Holocaust Museum & Education Center of Southwest Florida:

This museum has over 1,000 artifacts from World War II and the Holocaust. Their mission is to teach the lessons of the Holocaust to inspire action against bigotry, hatred, and violence. This is a great history for you and your family, but because of the situation, they do recommend for children to be over the age of 12.

Learn about the history of Naples at this museum. This museum offers newly created exhibits and galleries that capture the full panorama of local history. There is an inside exhibit area that has over 10,000 feet of displays along with an outside area that offers a special experience to see how living in Naples was a long time ago.

Naples Depot Museum:

What's better than one museum? Two museums in the same place! Naples Depot Museum is set back to make visitors feel like they are in the Roaring Twenties during the railroad age. It explains how Southwest Florida used transportation and technology during the frontier age. There is also a privately owned train museum right next to the depot museum. At this museum, there are trains to buy, view, & even ride!

33rd Annual Taste of Collier is Coming to Town This Weekend!

Taste of Collier is coming to town May 1st! This is a Naples Tradition and features live entertainment, cooking competitions between local chefs, and food samples from over 20 local restaurants. Taste of Collier is perfect for visitors to come out and see whats our county is all about!


Taste of Collier is a not-for-profit event that supports many local charities. Admission is $5 for ages five and up, parking is $5 and food tickets are $1 each. The event will be hosted at Shoppes at Vanderbilt beginning at 11am until 4pm. Shoppes at Vanderbilt is just 5 miles from the Hilton Naples. Don't miss this spectacular local event!

Crawfish Boil THIS SATURDAY Benefiting A Great Cause

The Boys & Girls Club of Collier County is hosting a crawfish boil this Saturday, April 23, beginning at 3pm! Come out and enjoy the fresh Cajun feast while supporting a local charity. This boil is an annual event in Naples and will include live entertainment, kids activities, and of course Cajun food! 

Tickets are $25 with children ages 12 and under free. All proceeds go towards the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County. The Boys & Girls Club is located in South Naples, just 9 miles from Hilton Naples.
