Free Admission to The Baker Museum

Did you know that every last Wednesday The Baker Museum offers free admission to the museum from 6pm-9pm? This is a great way to start your children into the world of music and art. A local band offers musical entertainment and audiences of all ages are welcome to view the galleries. This monthly event brings in a lot of locals, sometimes up toward 800 attendees by 7pm! There are some lite food options for you to purchase and enjoy while walking and looking at different exhibits that are on display. 
There are currently 5 exhibits on display at the museum, but the amount that are available to view vary month to month.

Meet Captain America at the Naples Zoo!


Everyone's favorite superhero is coming down to Naples to celebrate 4th of July the best way he knows how, an outdoor barbecue! On July 3rd from 11:30am-1pm, the Naples Zoo will be hosting a barbecue to celebrate the 4th of July with Captain America. At this event, families can enjoy delicious food and children can have special meet & greets with the character along with photo opportunities. With the price of a ticket each attendee will receive lunch, meet and greet, and all day admission to the zoo! You can only buy your tickets online, so click here to reserve yours today.

If you are thinking about skipping the barbecue but still want to meet Captain America, don't worry! He will be at the zoo on the 4th of July from 10am-4pm signing autographs and taking pictures with families!

Summer Family Movie Days in Naples

Summertime is finally here...and keeping children entertained is one the most important tasks parents have to accomplish. Happily for families, Paragon Theaters and Regal Cinemas created Summer Movie schedules where they will show morning movies. Below are their schedules and what each theater offers.

First Annual Wildlife Hospital Baby Shower

Ever heard of a baby shower for animals? Well now you have! Summertime is baby season at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. During this period of time, they will treat hundreds of baby animals including birds, mammals, and even reptiles. 

On June 4th from 10AM-3PM, The Conservancy is asking visitors to donate item(s) that are on their Amazon Wishlist or listed below that will help benefit the animal hospital. Don't worry, your donation won't go unnoticed. If you donate, you will receive a free entry pass to the Conservancy along with being entered to win a change to join the wildlife rehabilitation staff on an animal release or baby bird re-nesting!

Endangered Species Day at the Conservancy

Did you know that May 20th is Endangered Species Day? This is a day that recognizes the national conservation efforts to protect our nation's endangered species and their habitats. 
This year, The Conservancy of Southwest Florida will be hosting a variety of activities to showcase endangered species and how people can help these animals.
Along with activities, The Conservancy & the Naples Zoo are teaming up together to celebrate this day. For each member of either the Conservancy & the Naples Zoo, they will be able to get into the partnering organization's facilities free on May 20th and May 21st.

The Final Great Dock Canoe Race

This Saturday, May 14th beginning at 11am, the final Great Dock Canoe Race will take place. This charitable event hosted at Crayton Cove has been happening annually for the past 40 years and is fun filled for both participants and spectators. The theme goes with the final year, "The Last Dance." This water event includes several canoe races for various levels and also a "Best Dressed Canoe" contest.

The Great Dock and Canoe Race brings thousands of racers and spectators from around the country to Naples. Come and join the festivities this year! The Dock at Crayton Cove is conveniently located in Downtown Naples just 7 miles form the Hilton Naples
