during Island Under the Stars from 7-9 p.m. this Friday, September 18th. The event will take place at Lovers Key State Park on Fort Myers Beach. The Everglades Astronomical Society’s event for all ages, offered by Friends of Lovers Key, will use powerful telescopes to learn about the wonders of the universe. Bring bug spray or wear long sleeves and be prepared for a short walk to the beach. Participation is limited to 30 people so you must register by calling 239-463-4588.
