Shelling in Naples

With so many activities going on in Naples today, it was hard to decide which to do first.  After a week-long business trip in northern Florida, I decided the first thing I wanted to do was to take a walk on our beautiful beaches in Naples.
I was at a photo shoot last week and found my new favorite beach located on 32nd Avenue South.  I checked the tides to see when low tide was - I've learned that the best time for shelling in Naples is one hour before low tide.
Perfect beach day and I walked quite a ways south in search of some shell treasures.  There are these Gi-Normous homes that line the beach that you can't help but wonder what the people do to be able to afford them (forgive me...there are not many adjectives that describe the beachfront homes in this section of town).
I almost walked up to Gordon Pass where the boats from Naples Bay sail out of when I found the jackpot of shells.  Lots of huge Welks.  They still had live animals living inside so had to throw them back into the Gulf however it was exciting to see so many right in the surf.  Perfect day for Shelling in Naples!
Ask the front desk staff at the Hilton Naples Hotel when the low tides are happening on the beaches in Naples to plan your own perfect shelling in Naples trip.
