KID FRIENDLY PLACES IN NAPLES

It is almost officially summer... what do we do with the kids?

We all know that zoos are great entertainment for kids, but there are many things to explore for adults, as well. You can watch the wild shows in the Safari Canyon. Walk along the glass walls and get close to rare predators. Embark on a catamaran for a guided journey through tropical islands of apes, monkeys, and lemurs. The zoo is located at 1590 Goodlette-Frank Road and open from 9:00am to 5:00 pm every day, except Thanksgiving & Christmas. Allow yourself 4-5 hours to completely enjoy the animals, botanicals, presentations, and cruise

Bowling is family fun. This can be done at Bowland, located 5400 N. Tamiami Trail, 2 minutes from the Hilton Naples Florida Hotel, north of Pine Ridge Road.
Cruise Naples is a water adventure for children as well. Kids will love to see the dolphins play in the wake of the Double Sunshine. You will also see pelicans and bald eagles. You can also jet ski, go fishing, or boat to an island for shelling and/or picnic. The boat leaves from Tin City.
Coral Cay Adventure Golf is located on the East Trail . Relax and enjoy playing minature golf in a peaceful, tropical setting, complete with caves and waterfalls. Open every day from 10 am- 11 pm . The island setting hits the spot for entertainment and fun.

The Children's Garden in the Naples Botanical Gardens is a carefree world full of flowers, butterflies, and secret discoveries. Splash around in jets of water spraying from the boulders, play at the beach, or explore a waterfall cave. Scale the treehouse or go on a scavenger hunt in the Hidden Garden. Exhibits and relics tell the story of how railroads helped Naples get up to speed. Located in Downtown Naples on 1051 5th Ave. S., it tells the history of how trains reached SW Florida in the early 1900's.
