Fall for Fun at the Annual Stone Crab Festival

Fall for Fun at the 5th Annual Stone Crab Festival which will be happening this weekend, October 24, 25, and 26th. This weekend will provide days full of:

The festival spans several sites all within a 6 mile drive of Hilton Naples.  The sites include Bayfront, Tin City area and the Port of Naples Marina.  Kickoff begins with the Cracking of the First Stone Crab at Pincher's Crab Shack on Friday, October 24 at 4pm.  Festivities run on Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 5pm.

Things to do in Naples, Florida

Rocktoberfest 10 Miler– Sunday, October 19th, 2014 at 7:00am at North Collier Regional Park
The 4th Annual Rocktoberfest 10 Miler will feature a Rock n' Roll and Octoberfest theme to create the ROCKTOBERFEST 10 MILER. This rare distance course is one of the only 10 milers in the entire state of Florida and the only one in South Florida. The 2 person relay category is another fun option that will have 2 runners each racing a 5 mile section of the course.

Naples Concert Band – Sunday, October 19th, 2014 at 2:00pm at Cambier Park
The Naples Concert Band will open its 43rd season with a Concert in the Park on Sunday, October 19 at 2:00 p.m. The concert will feature three powerhouse soloists including Glenn Basham, concert master of the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra, who will perform the flashy violin solo Csardas by Monti as well as show off his harmonica chops in Norman Tailor’s Three Sketches; and Craig Greusel, baritone, and Lisa Federico, soprano, who will perform many of the memorable songs from the Broadway play Les Miserables. Sousa Marches, The Overture to Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro, Ravel’s Bolero, and Highlights from the Disney movie Frozen are some of the selections that will round out the program.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early with lawn chairs and blankets for seating. Admission is free, with donations appreciated.
